Rockwood Box Video
Now that water has dropped on the Animas, we now have the opportunity to run trips down Rockwood Box Gorge. Here is a video we put together from a trip on June 21, 2013. Thanks to our awesome crew that joined us this day.

Our family had a blast!!! We ranged from 10 years old to 44 years old. There was something for all of us. We will go back again one day for sure! It was a really beautiful memory made as a family.

Good time, great guide (we had Ryan), a family trip success. We got to play in the water and had a lot of fun. Nothing too extreme, as we knew we were going out at the end of the season. My only wish was that they gave you at least one or 2 photos as party of the package, with the option to buy more. None of took phones due to it being on the water, and we had a great time, but the pictures were $35 extra.

We wanted an adventure to cap an amazing backpacking trip to Chicago Basin along Needle Creek. Matt and his crew helped us make final arrangements with the train company, gave us some great training in town and then took care of us on the Upper Animas. The rafting was fantastic with great scenery and plenty of thrills. This was not for the faint of heart and we appreciate 4 Corners' attention to all the details. Have fun!

Emily was a terrific guide and very enthusiastic. It was our first time on the rapids and she made it awesome. Robin was a great driver and the overall experience was epic. The day was beautiful, despite the muddied waters caused by the previous days’ rain. The snacks midway through our adventure were spot on, and the girls were adorable with their cooking demonstration. The life jackets were a little stinky from being in the rain the night before, but other than that, it was a great day and we are grateful for the memories.

Excellent trip! Great guides, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I recommend the half day perfect amount of time to really enjoy the trip. I was a little concerned due to late snow melt but it was just fine. They take safety very seriously and we felt perfectly comfortable. Our guide was Emily and she was a lot of fun!

We had a very fun time on our half day trip. Brian was a great guide, everything was professional yet laid back. The only thing I would do differently is to take the Express trip instead of half day--better value because ours was only maybe 20 minutes longer and was supposed to be about 3 hours on river (was maybe 2). Most fun is in first part anyway. River speed does vary, but July isn't the fastest. Rain often happens in afternoon, so be aware. Would recommend 4 Corners.
