starting just 5 miles Northwest of Telluride, the San Miguel River contains 40 miles of uninterrupted class III whitewater. In true Sierra style, our small maneuverable raft offers the most dynamic ride on the San Miguel River. We’ll provide your group with the best equipment and the most experienced guides on a trip down one of the few remaining free-flowing rivers in Colorado. You will be inspired by the narrow twisting waterway and towering red-rock walls of this Colorado jewel!
HERE’S A TASTE OF THE MIGUEL
-Meet at Jagged Edge in Telluride for equipment fitting at 9am or 1:30 (see map below)
-Depart for put-in Deep Creek (8 miles) or Specie Creek (15 miles)
-Safety orientation and launch-Let the action begin
-Raft 12 miles of continuous and scenic class III rapids
-Take-out at Placerville or Beaver creek where a snack will be prepared and change into dry clothes
-Drive back to Telluride 15-25 minutes
